Michael Cvechko, owner and founder of Cvechko Insurance Services, has been providing insurance solutions for Philippi, West Virginia families and business owners for almost 20 years. Michael started his career with Westfield Insurance Companies.
During his time with Westfield Insurance Companies, he served in various capacities from handling property and casualty claims to underwriting and agency management. Michael then had an opportunity to move back to Barbour County and work for an independent insurance agent in Elkins where he served as Vice President of Sales. In 2013, Michael was given the unique opportunity by Erie Insurance Companies, one of the leading insurance carriers in West Virginia, to open his own independent insurance agency in Philippi.
Michael states that his life long dream has always been to be a business owner. He states that the insurance business enables him to educate people on ways to protect their hard earned assets through various insurance products – life insurance, homeowners insurance, auto/car insurance, annuities, and business/commercial insurance. Each customer is unique and deserves to have an insurance program that is tailored to meet their needs.
Michael is married to Cindi Cvechko, and they have two children Carson and Carli. They live in Belington and are very active in their community. Michael attended West Virginia University where he obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He also currently holds his Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
